rhi: Hermes running, caduceus in hand (Hermes running)
First, the recommendation: I haven't watched SPN, just read some of the transcripts and seen some vids. "Accidents Will Happen" doesn't care that I don't know the fandom, it kept me laughing hysterically anyway. Four Goth teenagers accidentally resurrect John Winchester. Yes, really. Trust me, just... go read this. ::giggling::

Second, the question: A few years back, someone on my friends' list recommended a store that sells Celtic knotwork cloaks, and Egyptian god statues and art, and Greek god statues, and dragons and other mythical creatures... and I can't find the bookmark and it's driving me crazier. Um, help? Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks!

ETA: Still haven't found the shop, although I *have* found the Hermes statue I was looking for. ::mock-glares at [livejournal.com profile] raine_wynd:: Not to mention a shawl I wasn't looking for, and don't actually have the figure to wear, but want anyway... Oh, well. If anyone knows the store I mean, please tell me, and this time I won't lose the bookmark!

rhi: A candle-lit labyrinth with a person just entering. (labyrinth)
I'm on Windows XP, and could use a good backup program. Any help would be appreciated!

And, on a completely separate topic, I may be catching up on my sleep. There might be ::gasp!:: writing, and beta, and web design, in my future instead of running a friend around to doctor's appointments, grocery store, et al. Yay!

rhi: Connor MacLeod, holding a katana (Connor warrior)
Does anyone have an audio file of Connor's imfamous apology on Boston Commons? You know -- "I apologize for calling your wife a bloated warthog and I bid you good day, sir." ::looks faintly embarrassed:: That's kind of the summary of a fic and I was thinking it would be cool to link to the sound file....?

You must have been warned against letting the golden hours slip by ... some of them are golden only because we let them slip by. - James Matthew Barrie,

Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who only dream by night. - Edgar Allen Poe

I often warn people: Somewhere along the way, someone is going to tell you, 'There is no "I" in team.' What you should tell them is, 'Maybe not. But there is an "I" in independence, individuality and integrity.' - George Carlin
