On the one hand, a single patient portal would be an irresistible hacking target. I do get that. But wow, am I tired of every doctor and pharmacy I deal with wanting me to create a log-on and individual password. (I need to deal with three. Yes I am unreasonably cranky about this.) Anyone got recommendations for a password manager program? (Which, yeah, I know, is probably as irresistible a target as that theoretical central patient portal.)
So, I joined a gym a couple weeks ago.
May. 12th, 2018 07:33 pmIt's near my workout buddy. It has more than one rowing machine -- enough for a(n extra fee) rowing class, much like a spin class. (I know, I know, I'm insane but I like rowing machines. They kick my ass so efficiently!) And it has a water area, with three swim lanes, a hot tub (luxury of luxuries I would have thought), and a lazy river. Picture a circular water track, about a meter deep, with an actual current. You can walk or swim against it until your tired, then float or swim with it until you've recovered. It's *great* for fibro.
I also, as of today, have a swim cap to help my hair stay red and a spare swimsuit which a) fits, b) looks nice, and c) is not black. Nothing against black but my last two suits have been black.
So, today? The pool pumps died and they're hoping like hell to have it open again by Memorial Day. Oh, well, at least the hot tub should be available again by tomorrow?
